I wanted to post about something today but I can't remember what i wanted to post about. Oh well.
English newspaper report test today. Basically it was about this stupid guy who walked off the MRT platform onto the tracks cos he was engaged in an sms convo. I started with the line "Singapore now has her very own potential Darwin award winner". Well, you know the rest.We had band today. It's the sec 4s' last band prac with AHBand. A lot of sec 3s took turns and led us in warm ups. Ronald, Chelsea, Qianlin, Hsiao Lan, Wei zhang and Gwen, if I remember correctly. Then Mr Chua came and without the sec 4s there hardly anyone answered his questions. Seriously it's quite nerve-wracking if you're up there and no one answers the questions you ask. Then we split up for sectionals but cos Hsiao Lan had some competition and Mr Chua wanted the sec 3s to stay I took sectionals. Haha I think it went well? I dunno. Though I can say that I'm quite satisfied with it. I guess it kinda makes up for the time Van Chia asked me to take junor band and it was (totally) unexpected and I (totally) screwed it up. Haha I guess it just takes a little practise. In no time at all, we'd practised for 1 and a half hours. wow, how time flies! haha for me, maybe. Then we went back to the band room where the sec 3s and 4s played Warabe and I tried to sight read but wasn't THAT successful. They played March Bou Shu but I didn't sight read cos 1) it's too fast and 2) there was like, this kind of feeling in the air that said like, this is OUR song. our song as in those who played for NBC. I guess I just couldn't interfere. Xin Jie's clarinet is stuck :( And i'll feel guilty if she doesn't get to go band day tmr. Some sec 2s stayed back to do stuff for tmr but i didn't really do anything. Hannah and I went to play piano and I think my Croatian Rhapsody improved cos I couldn't hear the right hand and I told Hannah and she said use more strength and i did and obviously it improved but i think i sorta knew it at the back of my mind and saying it out kinda made me understand.Looks like I've remembered what I wanted to post about.
